Gone Too Long

Hello all...
I've been gone for way too long. I've just been so wrapped up in my businesses, my son, school, and other life ventures. But I'm back and ready to blog away. It is 1am and since the little one is asleep; I thought I'd write a bit. Christmas times is nearing and it's his 2nd Christmas with me. He loves looking at the lights on the Christmas tree each day and the gifts underneath it. I'm enjoying being a mother and loving that I can run my business from home and spend time with him. I am also pursuing my Master's degree in Marketing right now. Pure Romance has allowed me to do a lot of the things that I dreamed I'd be able to do. I'm just happy to share my life with my amazing son now. He is truly my blessing.

That Time of Year AGAIN (Pure Romance National Training)

Oh yeah! It's that time of the year AGAIN. On Thursday morning I will be heading to Cincinnati, OH for our Pure Romance National Training and NEW Product Launch. I'm so excited and anxious to get there already. This is my 3rd year attending and my 3rd year in the business. I am so excited to see how much this training will boost my business this year. This will also be my first time away from my 9 month old son for days at a time. Wonder how that will go???? Anyways, one of my Pure Romance daughters (downline) is going with me and we will be driving to Huntsville, AL and from there riding with a PR sister Rhonda and then making a stop in Nashville to pick up another sister PR consultant Marilyn. We are going to have some FUN UNDER THE SUN!!! Can't wait to get there and meet some new ladies. Classes this year seem like they will be fun and a major motivation booster. So I probably won't be on for a few days since I will be super busy in training all day.

Back At It

Hello everyone. I'm BACKKKK! I took a break because of family issues but I am back and at it full force. I am in the process of getting all of my businesses set up and ready to go full speed ahead. This week I will be attending our National Training & New Product Launch for Pure Romance in Cincinnati, OH and I'm so excited. This will be the first time that I have left my 9 month old son for more than a couple hours. I will be gone for 4 days. What am I going to do? Well I have to suck it up and get ready to take in all of this knowledge that is going to help me boost my business once I return. I am willing to do whatever it takes for my son to have a secure future. That is my pride and joy and then comes my businesses. I'm online now searching for expos and other events to sign up for to promote and get my name out there even more. So I will talk to you all later, I have work to do! Goodnight!

Late Night Post

It's 1:30am here and I'm about to get in bed. I've been staying up late a lot and then the little man wakes me up early and wants to play for hours. So I'm going to get in bed now and get at least 5 hours of sleep before he wakes up, lol. I have a busy day ahead of me. I have to make recruit lead calls for my Pure Romance business, deal with an apartment inspection, and I have a few appointments with ladies coming to get wrapped with one of my It Works body wraps! Thinking of going to Hinesville, GA later this week to surprise the hubby and visit some of the other Army wives there! Goodnight people and I will return later!

Busy Busy Me

I've been MIA for a few days. I have had a lot going on lately. I am organizing all 4 of my businesses to run as smoothly as possible, being a FULL TIME mommy to the little man, and a wife! My head is spinning 1,000 miles per hour. I am now a Barefoot Books Ambassador where I sell kids books and gifts (www.ANDREA--CARTER.barefootbooks.com). I've also started my It Works business back up (www.itworks.net/andreacarter) where I sell weightloss, dietary and skin care products and I LOVE those products myself! You all already know about my Pure Romance business, lol (www.andreacarter.pureromance.com) and I am a travel affiliate for NetTrav (www.nettrav.com/andrea26). So as you can see, I'm a pretty busy mom/wife/entrepreneur! I have been registering for webinars, tele-seminars, and anything to help me grow my businesses. I am determined to make them all successful and allow my family the freedom we DESERVE. Well little man is asleep and I'm in my office working hard. I've managed to clean the entire house today, do several loads of laundry, run to the grocery store, and box up some winter clothes. So now is my "me/business time." Trip to Hinesville, GA

Well it's now Monday morning 2:29am in Hinesville, GA and I've been here since about 7pm Saturday night. I drove about 7 1/2 hours to get here alone with my 6 month old son. I stayed at a hotel off post last night because my friend said she was sick and I didn't want to risk my baby getting sick nor myself. So we stayed there and then went to church yesterday! That was an experience I will have to tell about in another post on another day, lol. Well after church we came on post and have now checked into Army Lodging and I'm loving it so far. This room has EVERYTHING. I did get a chance to talk to hubby via phone and gmail today and that was great. I can't wait to hold and kiss him again real soon and for him to see and hold his son again. Guess I will go house shopping later today and hopefully find us something! I did take a ride around some of the post today and say a lot of nice homes on post that I wouldn't mind living in but I will explore options outside of post as well. I've met some wonderful Army wives on Facebook and hope to meet up with some of them tomorrow at Manna Cafe! So I think this will be a great experience for me, moving here to a new place and starting my Pure Romance business here. I do believe I will make several new and long lasting friendships as well! Ok people, I'm going to try to get a couple hours of shut eye now!! See ya tomorrow!

4am Party Preparation

Well it's 4:07am and I'm in my home office preparing for my "Going Away Hostess/Customer Appreciation Party" that will be held in my home later today around 6:30pm. I'm working on making a sales flyer and chatting with my husband via Gmail chat!! In the midst of this all, I'm also cleaning my office and trying to set up my demo table and keep a check on the little one while he's asleep in the other room. Yesterday was kinda slow after 5pm. I decided to take my son to his grandma's and wait til she got off work so that I could raid Walmart, lol. Didn't do tooo much raiding though. I finally bought the album to start my sons' scrapbook and got him a new toy that he is already enjoying. Also I bought him some more Gerber's baby food in the jar. He loves the vegetables the most. I don't know too many babies that will eat peas, green beans, and squash like he does! But anyways, that was kinda my day in a nutshell!! So today I will run a few early morning errands to Dollar General and the bank, then drop the little man off at my aunts' until the party is done. Back to my sales flyer. Goodnight all!!

Refreshing Day Started off with my Body Dew

So I finally got the little man to sleep and jumped in the shower! I can stay in there for hours, lol. BUT I could never start my day without my Body Dew (After-bath moisturizing oil). This stuff is the best and I'm ADDICTED to it. I always feel like a new person after using it. Anyways, showered and gotten dressed, now I'm in my office working on this blog and catching up on much needed paperwork afterwards. Being a mother, wife, and business owner requires a LOT!! Soooo, my husband will be returning from deployment very soon and I'm going to have to make a 7 hour drive to where he will be to get him. I'm so excited that I could turn a million back flips. He's going to go crazy when he smells my NEW scent of Pure Romance Kiss body splash and my Entice lotion. I'm telling you all, this stuff is wonderful. Even if I weren't a consultant, I'd be broke from buying this stuff. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. I have so much to catch him up on. He missed basically the first 6 months of our sons life and the majority of my pregnancy as well. So I guess the next few days I will catch up on housework, business work, and then make an early drive there a day or 2 ahead of time to relax and be ready to greet my man with our son!!

Late Night Work

So I'm always up until around 3 or 4 am working on ideas for my business. It seems like that's when my brain kicks into overload, lol. I'm not myself during the wee hours when everyone else is asleep. I am in beast mode and thinking of master plans. Well I am now on my Druid X typing this because my 6 month old decided that he wanted to wake up for an early, morning feeding and get in mommies bed. Gotta love him! So now I am laying here listening to him snore as if he is a grown up and smiling to myself. A year and a half ago, had someone told me I would be laying in my bed and have a baby, I would have told them they were missing a brain! Well, since he's sleeping so peacefully, let me take a nap before sunrise. See ya later!
